First investment for the second Flexam Invest fund

As part of the offshore wind sector development, FLEXAM TAIF II closed a financing agreement with the Danish operator NORTHERN OFFSHORE SERVICES (NOS) for the construction of crew transport vessel (CTV) of the latest generation with hybrid thrust used to support (team and material) offshore windfarms.

This CTV will be equipped with innovative hybrid engines (diesel + electric) that meet the latest requirements of international environmental regulations and will be able to carry up to 24 people on board. The construction of this asset, 100% financed by FLEXAM TAIF II, will begin in November 2021 for an estimated delivery at the beginning of 2023.

This new investment by FLEXAM TAIF II follows on from the two previous operations carried out in partnership with NOS in May 2019 and July 2020. FLEXAM INVEST is positioned as a privileged long-term partner of NOS, no.1 in Europe in the CTV sector, operating its vessels on behalf of major players in the renewable energy sector (ORSTED, SIEMENS, RWE…).
